CoRR Hub Mobile App
Information and Launch Updates
Follow the latest developments as The Coral Reef Research Hub Mobile App moves towards launch, with regular updates on new features, development progress, beta testing, and release announcements.
Latest Developments (October 2026)
We’re pleased to share another important update on the development of the CoRR Hub mobile app. Our first phase of beta testing is now complete, with our initial small group of testers putting the app through its paces across its core features. Their feedback has now been compiled and sent back to our developer, along with the changes, fixes and improvements identified during this first round of testing.
Work is now underway on Version 2 of the app, which we expect to receive soon. Once available, this updated version will move into a second phase of beta testing to a larger test group, allowing us to check the improvements and continue refining the app ahead of its official release. The CoRR Hub app has been designed specifically for the global coral reef research community, bringing professional networking, member profiles, groups, messaging, career opportunities, courses, mentorship and other Hub resources together in one mobile platform.
We’re another step closer to launch! We’ll share more news as soon as Version 2 enters secondary beta testing.
Learn more about us and our mission
The Coral Reef Research Hub is a global career development and professional networking community created by coral reef scientists, for coral reef scientists. Our mission is to support the next generation of reef researchers while strengthening collaboration across the wider coral reef community through education, networking, and knowledge sharing. By bringing together undergraduates, early-career scientists, experienced researchers, conservation practitioners, and organisations from around the world, we aim to help individuals develop their careers, foster meaningful collaborations, and bridge the gap between coral reef research and the wider world. Together, we are building a connected, supportive, and inspiring community dedicated to advancing coral reef science and helping protect one of our planet’s most valuable ecosystems.
