Blue Marlin Conservation Internship Program offers a unique opportunity for individuals from diverse backgrounds to embark on a transformative journey lasting between four and twelve weeks. During this immersive experience, participants will have the chance to develop essential skills in scientific diving, a critical aspect of pursuing a career in marine conservation, whilst enjoying the sun on the tropical Gili Air island (Indonesia).
Through hands-on training, interns will gain practical knowledge in reef surveying, data collection, participation in coral restoration projects, engaging in research initiatives, building and deployment of artificial reef structures, science communication, and fostering connections with the local community. Please note that the AOW certification is a prerequisite for all candidates looking to join the 4-weeks program and the Divemaster certification for the 4+weeks program.
